Dunya News - Gullu Butt apologizes live on Dunya TV for his deeds

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Infamous character from Model Town incident Gullu Butt has apologized for his actions, live on Dunya News today (Saturday). He said that he feels himself guilty for having broken windscreens of cars and asked for unconditional apology. Gullu Butt said that whatever he did was only in response to what Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers had done to him. He clarified that he did not belong to any political party and has no links with the police.

Talking to Dunya News anchor Imran Khan, Gullu Butt demanded that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri should also be sent to jails for civil disobedience.

Although Gullu Butt not only smashed cars in presence of policemen but also received applause from them on this act, he now claims that he has no links with police or any political party. He said that he had only gone out for breakfast but was bashed by PAT workers on return. He said that he had only reacted to PAT workers’ action but everyone vilified him only. Gullu Butt said that he is a social worker and not a crook. “I always sided with the oppressed, have also performed Hajj”, he said. Though he confessed picking up cold-drinks from a shop yet clarified that he did not drink any of them.
