Gameplay Theater - Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 001

I wanted to test out if I could at the very least record videos that didn't have a whole lot of editing done to it because it seems when I do, my computer crashes. So I needed a test subject.

Enter "End of the World" from Sonic 2006.

I've heard horror stories about all the floating eyeballs of one hit DEATH and difficulty and what not about this stage, which is kind of made me worry at first. I mean, this game was already frustrating enough, so Sega decides to make an even more frustrating final level, right? First time around, of course I had some trouble. But after completing it and knowing where to find the Chaos Emeralds, and more importantly, where the eyes of Solaris show up, it becomes relatively easier to beat this level with ease.

Hell, the only real difficult portion of this level is Silver's stage, as you can tell by the sudden drop of lives left from...what, six?...to one. Friggin' red eyes, knocking me into the sand. And those goddamn worms.

But yeah. I've not seen a playthrough for End of the World out there. Here's a look of what those who were in my shoes can expect. Hopefully my shoddy gameplay will offer better results when you go through this madness.

For the record, I've done much better with Rouge, but at least I was able to find the Eagle statues, so some good comes out of this.
