Rolling Stones cancel Australian concert

Australian fans were left devastated when The Rolling Stones cancelled their gig at Hanging Rock, Victoria after it was revealed Mick Jagger was suffering from a throat infection.

"Considering we've driven three and a half hours and the first we get is a poxy little sign."

SOUNDBITE unidentified Rolling Stones fan, saying (English):

"A bit shattered actually, I mean, I wanted to show my son the greatest rock and roll band on the planet, the Rolling Stones."

The Stones cancelled the original leg of their Australian tour following the death of Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott.
