Director Mike Nichols dead at 83

Television, stage, and film director Mike Nichols died suddenly on Wednesday at the age of 83. Nichols was a nine-time winner of the Tony Award for his Broadway productions and an Oscar winner for films such as Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf and The Graduate.
