Protests continue in Ferguson and across US against racism

Protests continue in Ferguson and have spread across the United States accusing the government of racism after a grand jury in Ferguson decided against indicting police officer Darren Wilson who shot and killed an unarmed African-American teen, Michael Brown, in August. Unfortunately, this has become an all too common occurrence, with black teens more than twenty times more likely to be shot by police than their white counterparts according to some studies. Ferguson is presently under a state of emergency, as social unrest there continues, and local authorites seem more concerned with keeping 'undesirables' away from white-owned business than with respecting the constitutional rights of protesters. teleSUR
