Egypt: Sunni Muslim conference rejects the Islamic State

Representatives of Sunni Islam met in the Al Azhar mosque in Cairo to define a joint position towards extremism. Following the conference these leaders announced that they reject and do not recognize the self-named Islamic State. They also affirmed that the precepts of Islam have nothing to do with terrorism. teleSUR.
