"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" tops box office charts for the second weekend in a row, bringing in an estimated $41.4 million in ticket sales.

It's the last of Peter Jackson's three "Hobbit" films.

And World War Two drama "Unbroken," directed by Angelina Jolie, finishes second at U.S. and Canadian theaters collecting $31.7 million, according to studio estimates.

It tells the story of real-life Olympic runner and prisoner of war, Louis Zamperini.

Third to top the charts was the adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical "Into The Woods," starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Johnny Depp.
