Family's Minivan Dragged With Truck For 16 Miles On Snowy Road

A family in Roscommon, Michigan escaped with their lives after a harrowing ordeal on Wednesday morning. Matthew Menz and his family were driving home in their minivan in snowy conditions when the auto hit a semi and became attached to the rig.

The driver of the rig didn’t realize the trailer had been hit and that the minivan was being towed behind it. The Menz’s weren’t able to pinpoint their precise whereabouts due to extremely poor visibility.

Pamela told the 911 dispatcher “We ran into the back of a semi-truck and he’s not stopping and our car is embedded underneath of it. Our windshields have completely shattered. I can’t see nothing. I just want to get off the back of this thing.”
