Heretic: Jacques Benveniste

Portrait of an eminent French scientist who was forced out of his job as head of a Government laboratory for investigating what became known as 'the memory of water' - a possible explanation for homeopathy. It was filmed while his laboratory was being shut down in 1992/3 but, nothing daunted, he was forging ahead into research on 'digital biology'. Benveniste died in 2004, after which his discoveries were further developed by Nobel Laureate Professor Luc Montagnier, the celebrated discoverer of the AIDS virus.
