SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES – "FACE TO FACE" i/v ('MTV News at Night', July 1992)

In 1992, famous film director Tim Burton commissioned SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES the theme song for his ‘Batman Returns’ movie. MTV interviewed Siouxsie, Severin and Budgie on location of the video-shooting for the single ‘Face To Face’ in June 1992, London, UK.
Parts and bits of that interview were shown on various MTV programmes in the following month, including:
‘MTV News at Night’ (aired 10 July 1992) and ‘XPO’ (aired on the weekend of 11 & 12 July 1992) both of them featuring the same report on location, ‘MTV News at Night’ (aired 15 July 1992) with Siouxsie’s views on directing videos and a previous ‘MTV News at Night’ (aired 8 July 1992) with Siouxsie talking about the ‘Downside Up’ project; all of them being taken from my own personal video archive, audiovisually restored (with the help of Peter Routley) and compiled in one fan-made video.
