Mario Golf: World Tour (マリオゴルフ ワールドツアー) is a golf video game for the Nintendo 3DS.[1] As with the majority of the games in the Mario Golf series, it was developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo. The game was first announced on February 14, 2013, in a Nintendo Direct presentation. It is the sixth game in the series, and is the first one in a decade, since 2004's Mario Golf: Advance Tour for the Game Boy Advance. The game was initially scheduled for the second half of 2013, but was eventually delayed into May 2014. It was first released in Japan on May 1, 2014, in North America and Europe on May 2, 2014, and in Australia on May 3, 2014.
