Valsad: A dispute over land between two parties in Dungri village of the district has put the police in dock. The two bikers opened three rounds of firing on Daman based land broker Salim. The incident took place in a hotel compound when the businessman got down for lunch. Talking to media, Salim said, ''He has recognized the attackers''. He was asked to give up the purchased land in Vahiyal village of Dharampur taluka for free and was threatened several times by the attacker Wasim Kazi, he added. The two bikers are absconding and investigation on the basis of CCTV footage is underway following complaint by Salim.
