This knife came within a whisker of killing pool Zelyoniy the cat, but luckily he came away from the ordeal with eight lives remaining.

A local resident named Lyudmila found the pool feline with a massive knife lodged inches into its skull and rushed the poor cat to the vet where the blade was removed from its head.

The cat could be seen dazed and confused as Lyudmila was driving him to the hospital, but he is expected to be back in good health soon.
