Asif Ali Zardari calls Altaf Hussain

Former president and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari called Mr. Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, and discussed Senate elections, country’s political situation and other affairs of mutual interests.
Talking on the occasion, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari said that the current situation of Pakistan needed to enhance political reconciliation and unity among the people. He said that PPP and MQM had a good past record of reconciliation politics.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hussain endorsed him saying that Pakistan is for all and the political parties’ mandates should be acknowledged. He said that the people who had merit should also be given chance to rule or serve the people. He said that the differences were the beauty of politics but it needed to recognize each other rights and responsibilities.
