A woman living in Chicago has officially become a U.S. citizen on her birthday. 102-year-old Felicidad Lage had quite an outing on her special day.

On Wednesday, Lage, who is originally from Spain, ventured to downtown Chicago and took the oath of citizenship. She wasn't quite satisfied with just that though.

Right after doing so, she headed to the Chicago Election Board, where she registered to vote and cast what is called a grace-period ballot.
