Ten people were killed in a gunfight in western Mexico when suspected gang members ambushed a police convoy. The military police were patrolling a town southeast of the city of Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco, a state plagued with fighting between the Knights Templar cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. More than 100,000 people have been killed in gang-related violence over the last eight years. TeleSUR.
