Shocking tunnel fight between Vittoria-Paternò after Sicilian derby
A truly shocking and brutal fight broke out in the tunnel after the Sicilian derby yesterday, which had been terminated by the referee due to the level of violence and amount of red cards he had to produce.

Then as the teams returned to the dressing rooms, all hell broke loose, with both sets of players attacking each other with wild punches and kicks.

One Paterno player, who was left prone on the ground in the melee, had to be rushed to hospital, and was left with cracked ribs and and pneumothorax.

A total of 59 match suspensions have been handed out by the FA: 36 from Vittoria, 23 from Paterno, after the Italian FA managed to identify the offenders, and their relative involvement from the tape
