Emigration from Gaza dangerous and illegal

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of last summer's Israeli aggression and Tel Aviv's seven year siege is driving emigration from the Palestinian enclave. But the journey undertaken by hundreds of Palestinian youth by sea is illegal and dangerous. Earlier today, hundreds of family members of would be emigrants held a protest to demand that Egyptian and European Union authorities provide information on their relatives who were reported as dead after their boat sank in the Mediterranean Sea last September.
