Child-abusing nanny punished and shamed with video posted to Facebook

A father in the southern Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung posted footage of his child’s nanny and her husband lifting a heavy bucket of water online after he and his wife suspected the pair of abusing their toddler. The parents went to the nanny and husband’s house with a handful of friends and threatened to beat them up.
The couple claims they became suspicious after their son stopped speaking and grew scared of others.
The father threatened and then demanded that the couple pick up and carry a large bucket of water over their heads and then perform squats.
After the nanny and her husband managed to make a run for it, escaping from the parents and their friends, they reported the incident to police, saying that they’d never abused the child and that they themselves had been abused by the boy’s parents.
Nevertheless, the parents are going to be looking for a new nanny.
