Double murderer caught: Fugitive killer haunted by ghosts of his victims

Police in Tainan, a city located in southern Taiwan, have finally arrested a wanted suspect in a double homicide that occurred in July last year.
Jun-liang Lin, age 44, killed two people last year in their home over a financial dispute.
One of the victim’s uncles, identified by his last name Wang, borrowed money from Lin and had been avoiding paying back to the loan. Lin finally began stalking and threatening the man in an attempt to get his money back.
Then one evening during a summer typhoon Lin marched into the man’s house and fired 3 shots, killing two, before fleeing back into the storm.
Lin went on the run after that, but said he was more on the run from the ghosts of his victims than the police. He said he was unable to sleep without taking sleeping pills and drinking because the ghosts harassed him in his sleep about their deaths.
When police finally arrested Lin in Tainan he told them that he wasn’t running from them, they were just too incompetent to catch him.
Now Lin’s ghosts will have visitation rights to him in jail since he’ll be drug and alcohol free.
