Alternative medicine: Unlicensed doctor in China kills two and dumps them in the river

A local fisherman in a rural town in China’s Fujian province discovered two dismembered bodies wrapped in plastic bags dumped in the river.
One of the bodies has been identified as that of a 39-year old man who was last seen on his way to a local clinic.
The man, nicknamed A-Du, was feeling unwell and said he was going to stop by the clinic. After he failed to return home his daughter and younger sister notified police. The clinic was closed and the so-called doctor nowhere to be found.
An autopsy determined that A-Du had received an IV or injection which killed him. It may have been an overdose or simply the wrong medication.
The still unnamed doctor dismembered and then dumped the bodies in the river before fleeing. Police suspect he may have fled to Sichuan.
Photos of the clinic show it to be two dilapidated rooms without a scrap of medical equipment in sight.
And yet this guy made people believe he was a legit doctor. How did he manage that?
