Plane crashes into house: six dead after jet crashes into home in Washington D.C. suburbs

An executive jet crashed into a home in a Washington, D.C. suburb Monday morning, killing six people, according to a Washington Post report.

Witnesses described the flight of the small, private jet, which was making an attempted final descent into the Montgomery County Airpark, as erratic ahead of the incident.

The Embraera Phenom 100 twin-engine jet crashed into a home in Gaithersburg, Maryland and set both it and two neighboring houses on fire.

The crash took the lives of all three aboard the plane and three occupants inside the house.

Marie Gemmell and her two young children, an infant and a 3-year-old were both reportedly killed by the impact.
