Princess Charlotte is less than a week old and she is already making an impact in some unexpected ways.

A zoo in Japan that named a newborn macaque monkey 'Charlotte' after the British royal is facing backlash. 

According to the Kyodo News Agency, the Takasakiyama Zoo received hundreds of calls and emails from unhappy citizens following its announcement of the name. Many thought naming a monkey 'Charlotte' is disrespectful to the British royals and the people of Japan probably wouldn't be pleased if the UK named a macaque after the Japanese royals.
