Live from the newsroom, Oliver Farry provides an overview of today's French newspaper headlines.
François Hollande becomes the first Western head of state to visit Cuba since the 1959 revolution but the trip appears to be motivated mainly by the prospect of getting in on the island's burgeoning economy.
Elsewhere, the European Union is to table a resolution in the UN Security Council aimed at tackling people-traffickers and it intends to use military means to destroy the boats of smugglers.
