Fly gets tongue stuck on frozen steak in incredible close-up video filmed in New Zealand

A hilarious video has emerged online of a fly that got its tongue stuck on a piece of frozen steak.
In a instance similar to the famous Dumb and Dumber gag, the household pest struggles frantically to pull its tongue from the surface of the frozen meat.
The fly looks all but helpless until the filmmaker intervenes by melting some of the ice.
"This fly was too eager to have a taste from a frozen beef steak and got its tongue stuck! It struggles to dislodge itself. With a little help, the crisis was averted," the filmer later wrote online.
The footage was captured by an amateur photographer in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday.
