Fight fail: Man punches woman then receives spectacular beating from boyfriend at NC gas station

Wrong move, punk.
A video of a fight, or perhaps more accurately, a very brief open-air cage fight, at a Greenville gas station in North Carolina is going viral on Facebook.
The clip begins with a leanly-built man in a knit cap confronting a large white-shirted man and woman who appears to be his partner. Some unfriendly words are exchanged before the smaller man punches the woman in the face. Aside from the obvious assholery of punching a woman with zero provocation, his choice quickly proves to be extremely ill-advised.
The woman’s partner, a man of imposing size, closes the distance. A couple of quick punches later and the smaller man is lifted clear of the ground and slammed down. Hard. The boyfriend then unleashes a storm of blows into the defenseless man. The woman lays a few kicks into his head for good measure.
Greenville police said they responded a report to a fight around 11.30 p.m. Thursday night, but no one was there when they arrived.
Police say they are seeking assistance from the public.
