Beheaded by Islamic State: U.S. journalist Steven Sotloff killed on camera

Islamic State thugs showed their barbarism again on Tuesday by filming the killing American journalist Steven Sotloff.
As in the last video of the beheading of James Foley, Mr Sotloff delivers a short, likely forced, speech criticizing the U.S. and asking why he has to pay with his life for America’s attacks on the Islamic State, including the recent U.S. airstrikes that assisted the Iraqi and Kurdish militaries in re-taking Mosul Dam.
The video then moves to the horrific moment when a black-clad thug speaking in UK-accented English, makes an anti-U.S. speech and then uses what appears to be a medium sized hunting knife to decapitate the captive journalist.
The Islamic State video ends with images of a kneeling man in an orange jumpsuit. He is identified David Haines, an aid worker from the UK, and the British-accented militant says Haines is next in line to be killed.
Steven Sotloff was 31 years old. He had worked across the Middle East but had taken a particular interest in the Syrian Civil War; striving to make the world aware of the suffering of Syria’s civilian population. He is described by friends and colleagues as ‘selfless,’ ‘loyal,’ and ‘caring.’
