Domestic Violence: Deadbeat dad abuses girlfriend, then hurls 7-month-old son in car seat in mid air

A Clarksville man is charged with child abuse and domestic violence after a dispute got out hand in their trailer home, late Friday evening.
John Woodley Jr. was having an altercation with his girlfriend when she claims he punched her in her face.
According to police reports, Woodley prompted her to leave his home with their 7-month old baby son. Before she could get up, Woodley went on a rampage throwing their son at her, who was still in his car seat at the time.
The woman quickly grabbed their baby and drove to her grandparents house. They rushed her and the child to Gateway Medical Center for medical assistance.
Luckily, the child was not injured, but the woman suffered from a black eye.
Police detained the 37-year-old man, on charges of child abuse and domestic assault. He was later released when he posted a $7,500 bond. His arraignment in court is set for August 18th.
