A Kentucky man faces charges after allegedly putting razor blades in bacon because he didn’t like his neighbor’s dogs barking.

In a seemingly quiet suburban city in Kentucky called Elizabethtown, lived a family and two dogs.

Nibbles and Bolt were more than pets, they were Stotts family members, but not everyone in the neighborhood appreciated them.

Robert Hamme, one of their next door neighbours, was annoyed by the dogs barking. He got the idea to put razor blades in some Canadian bacon and then threw the razor-infested meat over the fence for the dogs.

Poor Nibbles became sick and died three days later, his owners say, because of a blockage near his stomach

Owner Jim Stotts says he found Bolt chewing on another piece of meat with razors, but luckily his second doggy is okay. The Stotts have a two-year-old grandson who plays in the backyard and could have also fallen victim to the razor scheme.
