Philadelphia parents busted after their first-grader brings heroin to west philly school

First graders at Commodore John Barry Elementary School were sent to hospital Tuesday after a 6-year-old brought bags of heroin to class.
A West Philadelphia teacher was surprised to discover a 6-year-old girl playing with what was found to be 10 packets of heroin in her classroom Wednesday, June 11.
Students in the class were taken to a Philadelphia Children's Hospital, but doctors said all was well and released the children to their parents.
Complaining of stomach pain, doctor's found an eleventh packet of partially opened drugs in the 6 year-old-girl's pocket.
Her parents, Christopher White and Marie Hunter, were arrested after police more drugs in their home.
The two were charged with narcotics offenses and recklessly endangering others.
