Sore Arizona losers face-off with riot police after Wildcats lose to Wisconsin Badgers

Arizona blew its chance at the NCAA's Final Four Saturday after a 64-63 loss in overtime to the Wisconsin Badgers. In response, hundreds of Wildcat fans rioted on University Boulevard near the school and had a face-off with riot police.

The clash began when some disgruntled fans began throwing beer cans and bottles at officers patrolling the street. Police demanded the crowd via a PA system to disperse, however, the rowdy fans did not comply with the request.

Cruisers and security officials arrived when students started tossing beer bottles and firecrackers at police vehicles.

According to the authorities, they were forced to fire hundreds of pepper balls - or paintball like projectiles filled with pepper spray - to contain the crowd. The chaos was controlled in about an hour. 15 people were arrested, and eventually one person was put in jail. Yikes.
