London: 13th May 2015

MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM will observe a day of mourning tomorrow on the Safoora Chowrangi tragedy. He appealed to transporter, shopkeepers, schools, traders and industrialists to suspend their business tomorrow in order to expresses solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in the Safoora Chowrangi tragedy.
While talking to the members of the Co-ordination Committee on telephone Mr Hussain said the terrorists belonging to Taliban and IS came on motorcycles and sprayed bullets on innocent people.
He asked PM Nawaz Sharif and CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to inform the nation about hurdles in their paths or else tender their resignations.
Condemning the deadly attack, Mr Hussain said that bloodthirsty killers are killing innocent people in Karachi while the power law-enforcing agencies and police are busy in besieging Mohajir localities and searching their homes.
Mr Hussain said that any law-enforcing agency or police did not take notice of the madrassas that were openly giving training to Taliban terrorists. Students of Lal Masjid in Islamabad, headed by Maulana Abdul Aziz, distribute IS literature without any fear.
He warned that if only one party will be victimized in Karachi, then one day IS and other such terrorist organizations would overrun Karachi.
Mr Hussain asked people to establish a neighbourhood watch system, form vigilance committees and get military training from private institutions on a self-help basis.
Mr Hussain prayed Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the souls of the people killed in the attack.
