'The Hand of Man', as the installation is called, was made by American artist Christian Ristow and weighs over 13,000 pounds. Ristow said that the main idea of the project is to allow anyone to feel like a super hero or god when they use the contraption. As we continue to develop mind boggling technology that would make our ancestors look at us in wonder, perhaps the Hand of Man is a taste of what we will be able to do regularly in the future.
