Scaling new Lego heights: children build world's tallest tower in Milan

More than half a million bricks and five days of labour from thousands of children has resulted in a Guinness World Record for the tallest Lego tower in Milan.

At 35 metres the plastic structure has stolen the title from Budapest. The idea first originated in the UK in 1988 and is often challenged by Lego enthusiasts around the world.
