Rousseff and Obama End Meeting with Clean Energy Promises

President Barack Obama and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff concluded their meeting at the White House on Tuesday with promises to get 20 percent of their electricity from renewable sources by the year 2030. President Obama praised Brazil for combating deforestation in the Amazon region, and Rousseff announced the goal of restoring 12 million hectares of its forests by 2030.
