Thailand gets ready for the Ghost Festival 'Phi Ta Khon'

Dan Sai (Tailandia), Jul 1 (EFE), (Camera: Sonsoles Caro).- Thousands of villagers from northern Thailand dress up with traditional costumes, huge masks and show phallic accesories in the Ghost Festival also known as 'Phi ta Khon'. A celebration that joins together Buddhism with Animism.
The 'Phi Ta Khon', is an annual event that takes place some time between March and July in Dan Sai, a small town located in the Lolei province, in the North of Thailand.
