Well, at least the painting is creative. It depicts series protagonist Samus Aran on a dark, desolate alien planet. She’s also got a Metroid attached to her head that’s sucking the life energy directly out of her. Hey, just another day at the office, right? Drew’s Samus is ultra-expressive, with huge Disney-like eyes, and his use of color creates great color and lighting dynamics.
