Mercedes is on a launch spree. This is their 10th launch this year and guess what. Their quota for this year still remains. Coming back to this launch, as we had reported earlier, Mercedes Benz has today launched their S 63 AMG sedan in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs.2.53 crore.
The S 63 AMG comes powered by the same monstrous 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine that powers the S 53 coupe. The engine can produce 577bhp of max power and 900Nm of max torque. The engine is mated to a AMG Speedshift 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. With such a monster of an engine the S 63 AMG can reach 100kmph from a complete standstill in just over 4 seconds. The S 63 AMG will have three different drive modes – Sports, Controlled and Manual and will also come with Mercedes’s Magic Body Control feature.
