Suhakam to meet 'upbeat' AG over security laws

The Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) is to meet with the attorney-general today to discuss the new laws which will replace the Internal Security Act (ISA).
Announcing this, Suhakam chairperson Hasmy Agam said Abdul Gani Patail is "upbeat" about the meeting and had indicated that the commission's earlier recommendations will be included.
