Military Exercises Illuminate Skies Over Nevada

Coyote Summit, in the Nevada desert, is a treasured spot for observing the exercises of military air traffic, according to The Aviationist. Eric, a contributor to that site, visited the area over the course of a number of days to capture such a dramatic scene. He later portrayed his experience observing these Red Flag exercises, stating “within moments, a powerful sonic boom crashes across the desert. Jet engines thunder from every direction”.
