Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Pokémon Puzzle Challenge for Game Boy Color, developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. I could go back and just pull the description from when I reviewed the N64 version of this very game some years back, but that'd require work and frankly I'd rather ramble off something new. Pokémon Puzzle Challenge makes a few key moves away from Pokémon Puzzle League for the N64... but not all that many. The vast majority can be explained by scaling a console release down to a handheld, like the elimination of the N64's cylindrical 3D mode. One of the most significant differences, though, is that this version actually saw a Japanese release. (Yeah. Think about that for a second)
