A woman in California filed a lawsuit against Chipotle, asserting that their claims of a GMO-free menu are false.
In April, the Chipotle restaurant chain launched a campaign announcing they were ‘G-M-Over It’ and would no longer use genetically modified foods.
Colleen Gallagher of California says that their claim simply isn’t true.
She has launched a class-action suit against the company, asserting that they are not, in fact, GMO-free.
Specifically noted in the filing is that the animals Chipotle uses for their meat are fed a diet of genetically modified ingredient
