Massive 'Superhenge' Monument Found Near Stonehenge

Researchers have called the area under Durrington Walls "superhenge" for some time, long believing it to have been the site of a structure similar to neighboring (and much more famous) Stonehenge. Now, using ground-penetrating radar, the stones of "superhenge" have been found. They're big.

Move over, Stonehenge. The stones of "superhenge" have arrived.
Archaeologists recently discovered a large array of massive stone monuments less than two miles away from Stonehenge underneath the lawn of Durrington Walls in Wiltshire, England.
Around 90 stones were deliberately pushed over and then covered by the bank of the extant circular relief formation in what appears to have been a bid to preserve them thousands of years ago.
