We’re pretty sure this is the handheld version of SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge, but since the game came from New Jersey, we can’t be sure. If so, it’s a solid conversion of the popular PlayStation game, and although it loses some of the original’s presentational polish, it’s actually a slight improvement in terms of gameplay and control. Players platform under the sea while collecting new items and weapons. The objective is to do favors for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy to get their autograph, so find whatever they tell you to! SpongeBob SquarePants is a single-player game on the Game Boy Advance.
