Legal specialists and judges from around the world are meeting in a forum in Honduras to analyze the upcoming election of the country's Supreme Court. With an impunity rate of 95%, the Honduran system of justice has been subject to harsh criticism. Many legal experts believe that what is needed is a real independent judiciary, not controlled by or subordinate to the military and the executive branch.
