'Maxi Pad Bandit' arrested despite genius disguise

APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA-- Earlier this week, a man robbed an auto parts store and out of all disguises he could have picked, he went with a strategically placed maxipad over the eyes.
Surveillance footage from the Battery Mart shows the suspect roll out of his white Doge Dynasty and break into the store, before helping himself to boxes of battery chargers and flashlights.
Police identified the man as Gary Victor, 51, and believe he was under the influence of something. Apparently, he was seen casing the joint sans menstrual pad and made it all too easy for the police to put two and two together.
While this probably isn't the most carefully planned heist, you can't help but wonder how he manages to see around him with a giant white pad over his eyes.
