Hundreds of taxis blocked the Sao Paulo City Hall on Thursday in a protest against the United States based car provider Uber. The Mayor of the city plans to issue 5,000 permits for a new kind of taxis called “black cabs,” which will transport passenger using Uber services. The bill is opposed by taxi drivers and Uber itself, which does not want to be classified as a “taxi service.” teleSUR
