SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES – "OVERGROUND" (1984 version / unofficial remix, 20 Jan 2003)

Christian Dior Haute Couture by John Galliano 'Spring/Summer Collection 2003' in Paris, 20 January 2003. Music by SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES: "OVERGROUND" (1984 version from 'THE THORN' EP), unofficially edited, remixed and extended just for that particular fashion show.
John Galliano seems to be obsessed with the 'THE THORN' EP version of the song ''OVERGROUND" (1984) because he has used it also in his Autumn 1997/Winter 1998 show in Paris, titled 'Cleopatra qui rencontre Siouxsie Sioux' (in English: 'Cleopatra meets Siouxsie Sioux'). Back then, Siouxsie's picture was pinned backstage to guide the hair and make-up personnel.
SIOUXSIE: "If they say so! (laughs!) It’s true that in that Galliano’s fashion show, the models were sporting all of my old makeup and hair, my God! (laughs!) He even used 'Overground' as the music for the show plus some dialogues on top of it with Elizabeth Taylor shouting taken from the film 'Cleopatra' (of 1963)!" SIOUXSIE: "I've gone through phases of being abhorrent to people, and being like a leper and all of a sudden it goes round full circle - it's ironic! No, it's hilarious!" [Source: "Creature Comforts" i/v by Tim Blanks, 'Scene' cutting edge fashion magazine, Nov 1997, p. 48].
