1989 Snake Eyes (Commando) version 3 G.I. Joe review

This is a review of the third version of the GI Joe Commando specialist, Snake Eyes. He was released in 1989 and re-released in 1990, but the new outfit was never shown in cartoon form (despite his obvious popularity and the new DiC animated cartoon being aired at the time). His outfit change was, however, given an elaborate origin in the comic. The most distinctive trait of his new outfit are the crossed knives attached to the chest. They were so popular that when the fourth (unpopular) outfit was introduced in the comics, the artist continued to draw crossed knives on them!
