Syria: Free Syrian Fighters Unaffected by British Involvement

Syrian fighters on the ground say that Britain’s decision to join the airstrikes against Daesh is of no concern to them, adding that the 15-member coalition has been conducting airstrikes to no effect. For close to five years, Syria has been knee-deep in civil war, which began as an uprising against President Bashar al-Assad and his regime. Western powers are adamant that Assad’s fall from power can help alleviate the country’s problems.
